Design of the Timber-Concrete Composite Ceiling Structure
Válek, Jakub ; Horák, David (referee) ; Švaříčková, Ivana (advisor)
The reconstruction of existing houses is currently a frequent issue. This work deals with the possibilities of reinforcing wooden ceilings with the focus on ceiling reinforcement using an over concrete slab. This suggested ceiling reconstruction work is desirable from the point of view of the rigidity of the object in the horizontal direction. The work includes the proposition for the composite, according to various norms and their comparison regarding the economic side of the design. The work further provides a description of the experiment, its preliminary results and its comparison with the theoretical calculation.
Technological stage of Siding of a Block of Flats
Kasza, Radomír ; Ing.Lukáš Kopecký (referee) ; Diaz, Yvetta (advisor)
Bachelor thesis solves the construction and assembly phase of the technological envelope of a residential building in the Český Těšín. Includes integrated parts for the implementation of this phase. Includes the plan of tests and controls, technological standard, plan of the risks, financial plan and timetable. In addition, an inventory of machines and principles of organization development.
Realization of Reduction of Energy Consumption of Museum in Horni Studenec
Kazda, Jiří ; Lukášková, Jana (referee) ; Mohapl, Martin (advisor)
The bachelor thesis describes the realization of thermal insulation of Museum in Horni Studenec. The part of this stage is a montage of new windows and entrance doors, thermal insulation of foundation, plinth and external walls. The thermal insulation is designed using external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS). The thesis handles with technological prescription, assessment of transport itineraries, itimized budget with statement of quantities, design of site equipment, construction schedule, inventory of machines, control and test plan and occupational safety and health. In the last chapter of the thesis, there is described a mechanical anchoring system of thermal insulation, the comparison of the standard types and design of dowels, which are suitable for use in the realization of thermal insulation of the building facility.
Research and development grout and anchor masses
Žlebek, Tomáš ; Petránek, Vít (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
Modern anchor and grout systems are now at a high level and they are used in many branches of industry. This thesis evaluates the current state of anchoring and grouting systems, research of currently used material basis, testing procedures and up to date legislation for these types of materials. Above all, the thesis is focused on the chemical types of anchor and grout materials for utilization in industrial production facilities with exposure to extreme loads, a new methodology for testing of these types of materials and input raw materials will be proposed. The final part of this thesis is a proposal of new optimum formulas for anchoring and grouting materials for utilization in industrial production facilities with exposure to extreme loads including the description of their applications.
Analýza vybraných vlastností lepených dřevěných kolíkových spojů
Linhart, Matěj
The thesis is aimed at the tensile strength of wooden dowel joint using different wood species of dowels, different types of adhesives and different material of carriers in which the dowels are glued and subsequently pulled out of them. The tensile strength of dowel joints is influenced by a several of factors which including the wood species of dowels, the type of adhesive and the material being joined. In this thesis a total of three wood species of dowels were compared (Robinia pseudoacacia L., Fagus sylvatica L., Carpinus betulus L.), two types of adhesives (PVAc adhesive Multibond SK-8 and PUR adhesive AG-PUR Standard) and two types of carrier material – insulation material Purenit and birch plywood. Both carrier materials were part of a glued spruce beam like a middle layer. A total of 12 variants of test samples were compared, which differed from each other in the wood species of dowel, adhesive type, and material of the carrier. The best results were achieved with test sample variants that contained birch plywood as a carrier and were glued with PUR adhesive AG-PUR Standard.

Mechanical analysis of scarf joint fastened using cylindrical wooden dowel
Tippner, J. ; Milch, J. ; Kunecký, Jiří ; Kloiber, Michal ; Brabec, M. ; Sebera, V.
Traditional all-wooden woodworking joints play an important role in the behaviour of timber structures. These joints are also widely used when historically valuable constructions are being reconstructed and the connections are usually the masterpieces that testify to the high carpentry skills and knowledges of the overall mechanical behaviour. Within historical timber structures traditional carpentry joints were used while wooden dowel fixed mutual position of elements. Main aim of this study was to contribute to knowledge base about prediction and analysis of the mechanical performance of frequently used scarf joints made from spruce wood fastened using oak dowels. The objectives were to determine the joints' slip moduli and load-carrying capacity by means of theoretical and experimental approaches, in next to assess the mechanical behaviour of dowels through experimental investigation, and finally to perform a strain analysis of dowels. For these purposes, the optical technique employing three-dimensional full-field digital image correlation was used. The experiments were done on the full-scale specimens meeting the requirements of European standards (EN 383 and EN 26891), which were made from Norway spruce (Picea abies L. Karst.) and English oak (Quercus robur L.). The mechanical load consisted in tensile parallel and perpendicular to grain direction within the main components. The results of this study showed good correlation between theoretical approach based on based on Beam on Elastic Foundation theory and European yield model theory and experimental observations.
